Fanny Acuna, MA, is a bilingual psychotherapist, who earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical and Health Psychology at Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas (Mexico) in 2015. She is a passionate professional who has offered mental health services to children, adults and families for over 9 years. Like many of her clients, Fanny is an immigrant. In 2021, she started offering therapy to adults and families residing in the southwest neighborhoods of Chicago. Fanny uses evidence-based practices in working with her clients. Her work focuses on tailoring treatment collaboratively with her clients. She provides an introspection process and offers a safe-supportive space through being warm in her engagement and creative in her interventions. Fanny’s clinical expertise is working with individuals and families experiencing anxiety, depression, relational stress, grief and trauma.
